Invisible Labor
Savannah Greys are peculiar in many ways. These soft, heavy Bricks are irregular in size and evidences the process in their making. The Hermitage plantation was an industrial rather than an agricultural plantation located on the coast in an area that had clay deposits. This clay was used to form the bricks produced.
